NET continues to support the community of all ages with a big emphasis on the over 60’s. The number of clients and volunteers continues to grow at a rate we have never experienced before. “Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work, generously giving their time and energy to help older people in Garforth and its 12 surrounding villages in East Leeds, to live healthy, fulfilling lives.” This year has brought many challenges for us at NET due to local council and government cut backs in funding for older peoples services along with ever increases running costs. We are constantly reviewing the services we provide and how we operate them. Our intention is to maintain as many activities as we can for the elderly in our community. Monica Walker CEO
